Some projects are just a little more special.
I’ve been a customer of Northern Tropics Greenhouse for years and have had the privilege of working there part-time for the past two years. Between my love of plants and Sandy’s incredible passion for what she’s built, I’ve always hoped I’d have the opportunity to help bring her vision for a new logo to life.

Sandy had been using a logo for many years, but we finally sat down to create something that truly tells the story of Northern Tropics.
We actually ended up with two logos.
The primary logo celebrates where it all began—Sandy’s love of banana trees and the tropical atmosphere that surrounds the greenhouse. Every spring and summer, Northern Tropics bursts with vibrant annuals, tropical plants, and color that makes every visit feel like a little escape.

The secondary logo is a nod to the year-round houseplant greenhouse. At the heart of that space is Sandy’s incredible monstera, grown from seed more than 15 years ago. It’s become an iconic part of the greenhouse and felt like the perfect inspiration for a logo that represents the indoor jungle so many of us love.

Thank you, Sandy, for trusting me with something so meaningful. It was an honor to create a brand that reflects the heart of Northern Tropics.
Projects like this remind me why I started Paper Dingo Creative in the first place. Every business has a story, and I love helping bring those stories to life through thoughtful design.
